- Trip interruption can reimburse you for lodging, food and transportation if your bike is disabled in an accident far from home. The exact amount of miles from home will be defined in your policy but it is usually 100 miles or more.
- Transport trailer coverage is an optional coverage that offers protection for trailers. The exact limit will be defined in your policy but it can be up to $7,500.
- Custom parts and accessories can be purchased to cover all the personal touches and customizations that are part of your motorcycle. Some carriers may include coverage for these items under collision and comprehensive coverage but usually with a minimal limit.
- Lay up insurance may be available for the period when many drivers put their motorcycle in storage, like during winter. It covers you against theft and other events that might happen while your bike is in storage and not being used.
- Track Days might be covered by your motorcycle policy. Carriers that do offer this coverage usually attach exclusions such as those for timed events or speed tests.
